“People only see what they are prepared to see.” Ralph Waldo Emerson

We created vision/dream boards at my office today. It was so much fun. Everyone brought food and different magazines, we even had some children participate. In the spirit of the new year, I am encouraging everyone to create their own vision/dream board. Here’s how:

1.) Pull together magazine that you think will have pictures and words that inspire you.

2.) Rapidly flip through them, this shouldn’t take more then 30 minutes. Rip out imagines that inspire you, don’t second guess yourself or justify why you picked these images. Who cares! These are your dreams.

3.) Get creative. Start pasting those images on poster board.

4.) Sign and date the posterboard. Although it may seem a bit unconventional, this is still a contract with yourself.

See, super simple. Now you have a visual aide to help you reach your goals.

Here’s my board.

*If you really want to go in depth on what your board means you can interpret your color choices.
